Start of the project of a shelter for homeless animals

The AKFA Group is pleased to announce that work on the animal shelter project continues. We face a serious challenge. We intend to provide not only shelter for pets left on the street or in bad hands, but we want every four-legged friend to feel at home in the shelter.

When developing the project, AKFA Group specialists took into account the experience of local and foreign shelters and, first of all, the needs of animals. Today we have the results of our work, which we are happy to share.

So, on the territory of 1 hectare, the shelter will be able to accept under its roof up to 1000 pets who find themselves on the street. The project includes an administrative block and premises for staff, as well as a medical block, where pets will be able to receive compulsory vaccinations and other medical assistance. The start of construction of the shelter is scheduled for early January 2021, and we plan to complete the project by May 1, 2021.

– Animals end up in the shelter for various reasons: some were abandoned by the owners, some were lost, and some were even born on the street. Such dogs do not know love and care. But you and I can change this, – said Kamran Gulamov, First Deputy General Director of AKFA Group.

The AKFA group of companies fully supports the main mission of animal protection organizations in Uzbekistan and considers numerous facts of cruelty to animals unacceptable, speaking out against any violence. We support the principles of humane treatment of pets.

The AKFA Group seeks and develops talents to build together the future of technology and engineering science in Uzbekistan.
