The AKFA Group started the construction of a shelter for homeless animals. It is expected that the construction will last no more than three months. The CEO of the company Kamran Gulamov posted about it on his pages in social networks:

“Dear friends, we are pleased to announce that the AKFA Group has completed all procedures related to obtaining the land for the construction of a shelter for homeless animals. We have a large-scale construction work ahead of us, which must be approached with full responsibility. This stage will take three months”.

The AKFA Group announced its intention to build a shelter in early November of 2020. A month later, the company presented a project for the shelter.

The shelter will be located on the territory of the Pskent district of the Tashkent region. The company thanked the city administration of Tashkent and Pskent district for their cooperation in obtaining a land plot.

Kamran Gulamov invited everyone to visit the territory at the final stage of construction and the opening of the shelter. He also said that the company would inform the public about the progress of the project:

“We will keep you informed of the main events during the construction process through our official sources and the media. We are glad that our initiative has found a response from thousands of caring people," said the CEO of the AKFA Group.

The shelter will occupy an area of 1 hectare and will be designed for 1000 dogs. During the development of the project, special attention was paid to the creation of comfortable conditions for dogs. For example, comfortable walking areas, a separate block for puppies, etc. In addition, there will be premises for staff, administrative and medical blocks, where animals can receive compulsory vaccinations and other assistance. The new shelter will also have disinfection barriers and strict quarantine zones for the newly arrived or sick dogs.

According to the plans of the company, the shelter will receive the status of a non-governmental, non-profit organization, which will allow attracting official assistance from legal entities and private individuals. At the same time, the AKFA Group will be financing the main expenses of the shelter.

The AKFA Group seeks and develops talents to build together the future of technology and engineering science in Uzbekistan.
