AKFA Group sponsored the first international festival of youth circus art in Uzbekistan


The AKFA Group's strategy is aimed, among other things, at scaling up efforts to meet the needs of the younger generation, empower youth and realize the creative potential of young people.

From 15 to 17 April, with the support of AKFA Group, the International Festival of Youth Circus Art was held in Uzbekistan for the first time. The Ministry of Culture and the Trade Union of Culture, Sports and Tourism Workers provided assistance in organizing the Festival.

The first International Youth Circus Festival sponsored by the AKFA Group was dedicated to World Circus Day, which is celebrated annually around the world on the third Saturday in April. The guests of the event were the famous Uzbek horsemen, representatives of the Zaripov dynasty, as well as the famous tightrope walkers, the Tashkenbaev brothers.

For two days, on April 15 and 16, children from 6 countries demonstrated their skills in such genres as Ikarian games, hula hoop, sprung rope, parterre ring, aerial ring, aerial gymnastics on canvases, on hinges, on a mast, hand balancing, equilibrium on a freely rotating disc, on reels.

Contestants aged 8 to 16 from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the People's Republic of China, Russia and Ukraine presented 26 group and individual numbers to the jury. At the same time, the speeches of participants from Russia and Ukraine, who could not visit our country due to quarantine restrictions, were broadcast online.

On April 17, within the framework of the gala concert, the award ceremony of the winners took place. "Gold" of the festival went to Aina Maratova from Kyrgyzstan and the representative of Uzbekistan Daler Khametov. Our compatriots Anastasia Bobyleva and Mubina Ganieva received the silver medal. Ksenia Konyushenko and Ksenia Bobrova shared the honorary "bronze" duet from our country with Anna Levina, a participant from Ukraine.

The Grand Prix of the festival was won by a contestant from Kazakhstan Arina Statsenko, who performed a bright number in aerial gymnastics on canvases. Special prizes were awarded to Murodzhon Makhmudov (Uzbekistan), Yulia Zhao (China) and Anna Levina (Ukraine).
